The Child Care program is available center based care at our child care sites in Plymouth and Marshfield serving children ages 2.9 years to when the child is eligible for Kindergarten.The child care program is designed to create an atmosphere that encourages self-confidence, school readiness, independence and intellectual curiosity. Classroom materials for each child promote their individual development while field trips and special activities provide new experiences.

Children who are 3 to 5 years old are eligible for Head Start services. Pregnant women and children from birth to 3 years of age are eligible for Early Head Start services. Children and families who are homeless, in foster care, or receive TANF or SSI are also eligible for services. Eligibility is determined by Head Start program staff and some families may be eligible for services if they are determined to be at or below the federal poverty level. Some grantees enroll a percentage of children from families with incomes above the Poverty Guidelines as well.

Families are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible both parents must be working, seeking employment, enrolled in high school, college or vocational school, participating in training program or have a disability or a child with a disability.Families' monthly income levels must also fall at or below certain limits to be eligible for sliding fee scale.Click here for Income and Eligibility Guidelines
