Welcome! The New Haven Public School is committed to offering high quality early childhood experiences to our youngest students--children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our Child Daycare and Early Head Start programs serve children 6 weeks to 3 years, while all our Pre-K programs (Head Start, School Readiness and Magnet School Pre-K) serve 3-5 year olds. While Pre-K programs located in schools coincide with the school year calendar, we also offer 12 month programs that are open 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. daily to meet the needs of working parent at the Early Childhood Learning Center, 495 Blake Street and Dwight School Readiness Program at 1324 Chapel Street.
