Next Door offers pregnant mothers and parents with children age Birth to 5, Home-based, Part-Day, Full-Day, Before & After School Care and Kindergarten Summer Camp program options. Enrollment in one of Next Door Foundation’s Early Childhood Education programs can be done year round.
Who is Eligible?
Children who are 3 to 5 years old are eligible for Head Start services. Pregnant women and
children from birth to 3 years of age are eligible for Early Head Start services. Children and
families who are homeless, in foster care, or receive TANF or SSI are also eligible for
services. Eligibility is determined by Head Start program staff and some families may be
eligible for services if they are determined to be at or below the federal poverty level. Some
grantees enroll a percentage of children from families with incomes above the Poverty Guidelines
as well.

Applying
To apply for Early Head Start, Head Start or Next Door ‘s MPS Charter School, parents need to complete an Enrollment Pre – Application.

Enrollment Selection Process (for Center-based Programs) - (Enrollment Flow Chart)
All parent(s)/guardian(s) seeking to enroll their child (ren) into Early Head Start, Head Start or the Next Door Charter School must complete a Pre-Application, Intake Packet and Enrollment packet to be considered for selection into the program.
