Seton Hill Child Services' Infant/Toddler programs serve children birth to three years of age. An "infant" room cares for children ages birth to approximately 18-20 months. A "toddler" room cares for children approximately 18-36 months of age. Infant/Toddler staff maintain ratios according to DPW regulations and Head Start Performance Standards.
Who is Eligible?
Children who are 3 to 5 years old are eligible for Head Start services. Pregnant women and
children from birth to 3 years of age are eligible for Early Head Start services. Children and
families who are homeless, in foster care, or receive TANF or SSI are also eligible for
services. Eligibility is determined by Head Start program staff and some families may be
eligible for services if they are determined to be at or below the federal poverty level. Some
grantees enroll a percentage of children from families with incomes above the Poverty Guidelines
as well.

How to Apply
Enrollment
The Family Resource Department processes all enrollment applications, determines eligibility of children and child placement, and provides support to families.
Eligibility and family resource needs are confidential matters discussed on a one-to-one basis with Family Resource Specialist. An initial visit with the Family Services Specialist and other appropriate staff, when necessary, gives parents a chance to discuss our programs and services and complete required enrollment paperwork.
