Description:: All FNA Head Start children are guided in developing social skills, physical fitness and educational tools that give them a head start towards kindergarten. All children receive appropriate developmental screenings and referrals as needed. The program is inclusive and promotes cultural identity of Alaska Native and American Indian families through onsite activities and field trips to cultural event such as the Festival of Alaska Native Arts.All enrolled Head Start children are eligible and participate in the CACFP (Child & Adult Care Food Program).
