How To Apply:
Recruitment ProceduresReferrals for the program are gathered from a variety of resources. Program staff make home visits to the parent’s home to explain the program in more detail and complete required application paperwork.This visit usually takes 1 1/2 hours. To inquire about registering your child please have the following information ready; i.e. child’s name and birth date, parent’s name, address and phone number. The Tri-County Opportunities Council Head Start is a comprehensive child and family development program for low-income or disabled preschool aged children and their families. Main goals are to work in partnership with parents to promote self-esteem, self-confidence, and school readiness for children. Components included within the comprehensive programming include: educational services; medical health, dental health and mental health services; nutritional services; services to children with disabilities or special needs; family educational and development services; social services support and referrals; transportation.
