To apply for Head Start you must turn in: Head Start Application (download application here) Proof of Household Income Child's Birth Certificate Child's Immunization Record You may turn in your application at the Administration Office, or any of our Head Start Centers. Head Start is a comprehensive child and family development program designed to meet the educational, social, nutritional and health needs of families with pre-school aged children. A recognized leader in the field of early childhood education, Head Start helps children become physically, socially and emotionally ready for elementary school. Services such as transportation, nutritious meals, medical, dental, vision and speech/ hearing screenings (and follow-up treatment) are also provided.
