they would have to complete another application. A child can be enrolled based on application information if the application is not more than 12 months old by the time school begins. Since the application will pass that 12 months threshold by the time school starts the next year, they would have to fill out another application.

Description:
The Head Start program of the Big Sandy Area Community Action Partnership, along with 6 delegate school systems, serve a total of 1219 children and their families throughout a 5 county area. At least 90% of these children are from low-income families or are eligible under other criteria that Head Start recognizes as being in need. The Big Sandy area has benefited from the Head Start program for over 40 years and children continue to receive a valuable early childhood foundation and school readiness in our 69 center-based and 1 home-based classroom each year
