Description:: Head Start is a federally funded program serving three and four year old children whose parents are below or at the edibility guidelines. UBHS has been rated as one of the finest Head Start Centers in the country. Parents have three options from which to choose; a Full dayÃ¢â‚¬â€7:30am - to 5:30pm, morning part dayÃ¢â‚¬â€8:00 to 11:30am, and afternoon part day 12:30 to 4:00pm. There is a waiting list of children to enter the program. Children receive Ã‚Â¾ of their daily meals. Teachers are certified in early childhood education, CPR, and First Aid.
