The goal is to enable the children to achieve social competence and to assist families to achieve self-sufficiency. The children receive educational services, health/nutrition, and social services. The parents are assisted in becoming actively involved in their childÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s educational process through parent involvement and literacy services. Head Start is free of charge to eligible families.
