How To Apply:: Who is Eligible? Are your children eligible for Head Start? Do you know someone whose children would benefit from a Head Start education? Eligibility includes: Ã¼ Children Birth to 5 Years Old Ã¼ Pregnant Women Ã¼ A Family Receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Services Ã¼ A Family Receiving SSI Supplemental Security Income Ã¼ Children in Foster Care or Transitional Housing Ã¼ Children with Special Needs Ã¼ 10% of Students Can Be Above Income Eligibility Levels

Description:: A Head Start program for low-income children ages three to five years throughout all of Passaic County (excluding Paterson and Passaic City) with an emphasis on school readiness and child outcomes. Our Head Start program includes both the center-based option and combination option. Children enrolled in the center-based option attend classroom sessions either 4 or 5 days per week while children attending the combination option attend classroom sessions twice per week along with bi-weekly home visits conducted by a home visitor.
