Description:: Dolgeville Head Start is a program where children from the ages 3-5 can come for early education before kindergarten. Head Start is federally funded, and the class takes a few field trips during the year. A typical week in the class is Monday through Thursday 8:00AM to 3:00PM, and many times parents come in to volunteer. Mrs. Pescatore is the teacher for the class. Her class consists of 18 students. The students learn the alphabet, numbers1-10, colors, shapes, learn to write their own name, and plant flowers for their science. The students also learn some animals and their sounds (moo).
