How To Apply:
Enrollment Process and Application Form________________________________________ To enroll your child in the Early Childhood Education Program, you must:• Complete the application: <a href="http://www.pps.k12.pa.us/14311051510156797/lib/14311051510156797/_Files/Early%20Childhood%20Application%20for%20web.pdf">2011-12 Early Childhood Enrollment Application</a>. You may also call the Early Childhood Education office at 412-325-4291 or 412-325-4292 to request an application be mailed to you.• Provide the following documents with your appliction:o A copy of the child's immunization records.o A copy of the child's birth certificate.o A copy of the child's current health, physical and dental records.o Two (2) proofs of residency (i.e. driver's license, utility bill, etc.).o Proof of income for all members of the household.

The Head Start Supplemental Assistance Program (HSSAP) is a State-funded early childhood program that provides services to three hundred seventy-three (373) children between the ages of 3 and 5, who reside in the Pittsburgh area. There are over 30 community child care partners, including family daycare homes, group child care and center-based child care. All community sites are enrolled in the Keystone STARS Program, which is a state-wide, quality childcare enhancement program. Some sites are also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
