Description:: E Center was awarded federal funds to provide services for Early Head Start. Early Head Start provides services to children 0-3 years of age and to pregnant women in their third trimester. To fulfill the Early Head Start mission, services are provided to promote child development in the areas of physical, emotional, dental, and nutritional health and in the development of cognitive and social skills. Parents, as the first and most important teachers of their children, are encouraged to actively participate in all Head Start activities.
