Description:: Educational, health, and child care services are provided to children each year throughout L.A. County in our Head Start and Early Head Start programs. For children under 3 years of age and their parents, we offer EARLY EDUCATION, CHILD DEVELOPMENT, NUTRITION AND PARENTING SUPPORT, and those ages 3 to 5 also receive preparation for elementary school. We serve 160 children annually in our child care programs. Our General Child Care programs for pre-school students between the ages of 2 and 5, and our After School Care programs for those enrolled in kindergarten through the ï¬fth grade provide EDUCATIONAL, ARTISTIC AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES for the children of low-income families.
